Kaitlin

Kaitlin-5Kaitlin-9Kaitlin-19Kaitlin-24Kaitlin-29First trip up north this season with my senior rep, Kaitlin, for her senior photos! The weather was absolutely perfect! We went to Goldwater Lake which is definitely one of my favorite locations!

I have known Kaitlin’s family for many years, which made her shoot so fun because we were able to spend time together! Kaitlin loves it up north and she plans on attending Montana State next fall.

I loved her outfit choices! Her cowgirl boots gave her session a country feel. The red sweater just POPPED in the middle of the trees and with her last outfit of shorts and a tank, makes you wonder if she was sweating in one outfit or freezing in the other! Personally, I was cold but Kaitlin was loving it!!

She has the sweetest personality and has such a big heart. I am so happy I was able to capture her senior photos and I know how much she will love them!

Marisa

Marisa-1Marisa-26Marisa-4Marisa-2Marisa-3So this senior thought she would be waiting a couple days for her sneak peek but I couldn’t wait! This shoot was A-Mazing!

Marisa, holy moly bombshell! She and I talked about different ideas for her photos and she said she was up for any and all ideas! So because I am pretty much obsessed with water photos, we took advantage of that! The Arizona sunset provided the most amazing light as well!

Marisa is super sweet and we had fun driving around the lake for different places to shoot! We may have gotten kicked out of reserved areas and were wading in the water with crawfish but we still had a blast and got some stunning shots!

Kaylee

Kaylee-1Kaylee-2Kaylee-3Kaylee-4Kaylee-5Hello Kaylee! My first senior of 2018! What an amazing way to start off my season! Kaylee was happy to be an early riser the day of her shoot! For it being the end of August, the morning was quite beautiful! It was only the last 20 minutes or so that we all started to sweat!

Kaylee laughed pretty much the whole session! It was actually pretty easy even though I was just telling her to start laughing. She told me I needed a key word to use to get a senior to laugh and as we tried to find one, the laughter continued. I have a feeling I may get some different looks other than laughter if I were to use these key words on a regular basis!  Kaylee’s smile is gorgeous and truly showed off her fun-loving personality!

We kept the session very natural with the colors in her outfits and the location to give it that earthy feel that Kaylee loves. This session came together so well! I am loving her sneak peek!

Kaylee is setting a tone for my senior season! Make sure to book fast! Spaces are filling up! Countdown begins!

2018: The year of Graduates

Barwise-9Barwise-26Barwise-27Barwise-51Barwise-22Barwise-43Another checked off bucket list photo shoot! I have always wanted to have a shoot on a sailboat. Hopefully, this won’t be the last one either! A very dear friend at the lake was able to make it happen for us! No matter how old these girls get, they will always be my prime models! I think they were 3, 7, and 11 the first time I told them to get into some cute clothes because mom wanted to use her camera and find some locations. This will never get old for them! I appreciate them for being such good sports!

I am beyond thrilled with how this shoot turned out! I was so thankful for the kindness of our sailboat driver, Colton, for taking time out of his day to drive us around, then put up the sail and just sit there and watch us do the shoot! It was perfect! I guess maybe the one thing that would have made it even better is if we would have jumped IN the lake after the shoot!!

Each one of my daughters are approaching a milestone in the upcoming year. Kylee will be graduating from college, Kaycee will graduate high school, and Maddie will promote 8th grade! I am already having heart palpitations! I have a case of tissues with my name on it and will probably use them all before the end of the year!

Is anyone else in the same “boat” as me? I can start a support group! LOL These years go by so fast! The only thing we can do is to capture as much of it as we can to freeze those moments for a lifetime. I am crying right now just typing this!

Keep an eye out for special pricing for sibling graduates and good luck! I’ll be thinking about you!

Bailey

1w2w3w5w8wBailey is a country girl so we headed to Cave Creek, AZ to get that look for her senior session. We encountered a bit of rain right in the middle of the shoot but that didn’t stop us!! That just made the temperature perfect for this time of year! This was the first time meeting Bailey and she relaxed so quickly in front of the camera! I was impressed! There was little work on my end! Bailey had a lot of fun during her senior session. I hope you enjoy her sneak peek!

Harlee

2w1w4w8w5w6w7wThis senior session tugged at the heart strings. I’ve known Harlee for many years but I have known her mom and dad since High School! I shot Harlee’s 8th grade promotion photos as well and I can’t believe how fast this last 4 years has gone! Harlee is graduating from Mountain Ridge which is the same high school her parents and I attended. We were actually the first graduating class! So you can imagine how surreal this is for us all. I swear we were just there yesterday!

Harlee is an amazing kid!! She has a huge personality that I love!! She is beautiful inside and out! She loved playing basketball in high school (when she wasn’t injured!) The game will always have a place in her heart. Although her goal of being an orthopedic surgeon will put her in med school for a while, she could be working in that field now with all the injury experience she already has! Ha! All kidding aside, she recovered well from each one and we are all grateful for that! She will be an amazing Doctor someday!!

I am so proud of you Harlee!! Congratulations on graduating!! Love you to death!

Zach

2 w4 w7 wZach’s senior session at the salvage yard was amazing! I am slightly obsessed with this place and wish I could be there all the time! I was super happy when Zach and his mom were up for shooting there! His images turned out awesome! And I think mom had more fun than any of us! LOL Shout out to mom, Jessica, for killing it with the reflector! Thank you Tiffany Lobdell for the referral! Who’s next at this place?
