Hello Kaylee! My first senior of 2018! What an amazing way to start off my season! Kaylee was happy to be an early riser the day of her shoot! For it being the end of August, the morning was quite beautiful! It was only the last 20 minutes or so that we all started to sweat!
Kaylee laughed pretty much the whole session! It was actually pretty easy even though I was just telling her to start laughing. She told me I needed a key word to use to get a senior to laugh and as we tried to find one, the laughter continued. I have a feeling I may get some different looks other than laughter if I were to use these key words on a regular basis! Kaylee’s smile is gorgeous and truly showed off her fun-loving personality!
We kept the session very natural with the colors in her outfits and the location to give it that earthy feel that Kaylee loves. This session came together so well! I am loving her sneak peek!
Kaylee is setting a tone for my senior season! Make sure to book fast! Spaces are filling up! Countdown begins!
Another checked off bucket list photo shoot! I have always wanted to have a shoot on a sailboat. Hopefully, this won’t be the last one either! A very dear friend at the lake was able to make it happen for us! No matter how old these girls get, they will always be my prime models! I think they were 3, 7, and 11 the first time I told them to get into some cute clothes because mom wanted to use her camera and find some locations. This will never get old for them! I appreciate them for being such good sports!
I am beyond thrilled with how this shoot turned out! I was so thankful for the kindness of our sailboat driver, Colton, for taking time out of his day to drive us around, then put up the sail and just sit there and watch us do the shoot! It was perfect! I guess maybe the one thing that would have made it even better is if we would have jumped IN the lake after the shoot!!
Each one of my daughters are approaching a milestone in the upcoming year. Kylee will be graduating from college, Kaycee will graduate high school, and Maddie will promote 8th grade! I am already having heart palpitations! I have a case of tissues with my name on it and will probably use them all before the end of the year!
Is anyone else in the same “boat” as me? I can start a support group! LOL These years go by so fast! The only thing we can do is to capture as much of it as we can to freeze those moments for a lifetime. I am crying right now just typing this!
Keep an eye out for special pricing for sibling graduates and good luck! I’ll be thinking about you!
We call Kaycee an old soul. If she could’ve been born in the 50’s, she would’ve fit right in! For her 16th birthday, she wanted a 50’s inspired photo shoot and party. Boy, was it a party, too!! She had a blast! We even added a classic car show in our front yard! Once again, Tiffany’s dad helped us out for her photo shoot by letting us use his car. Which, by the way, I love!! Tiffany did an amazing job on her hair, pulling the whole theme together! She couldn’t have looked anymore 50’s! Kaycee looked absolutely beautiful! Of course, Maddie wanted to dress up as well! This kid, my daughter, is an amazing young woman and I am proud to be her mom!
