Miss Madeline. What a sweetheart! And those gorgeous blue eyes! We had a fun 8th grade promotion session over the weekend! The location and her colors made for such a warm, fall feel! Just what we need in Arizona!
Even though our location was pretty busy for holiday photo sessions, we were able to find some great areas that really kept the feeling of her photos delicate and pure.
I love photographing 8th graders because you can feel the excitement of their upcoming high school years and the endless possibilities that await!
YES! I am a family photographer too!! I love the change up to photograph families for the holidays! This family has been with me for several years! I met Joe and Kaley 20 years ago and when they had their first boy, I wanted to do his newborn shoot! Ya, that was 15 years ago!
If you are a follower of my blog, you will know that I have had a camera in my hand since I was a little girl. I progressed in my photography skills throughout the years, but let me tell you, his newborn photos…Bahahahahaha!! Kaley and I laugh at them today! Her and I literally were on the floor in her living room stacking towels on top of each other to try for the “Anne Geddes” look. I am dying laughing as I am writing this! We were trying to balance him on top of them while Kaley was right off camera shot to make sure he wouldn’t fall off! The towels were every shade of blue and I think I left it in color when I developed it! Also, I think you could see the hallway in the background! Of course, she loved those photos because they were of her baby boy. That was all that mattered.
There was a few years gap in family photos after that but we picked back up and every year I get to photograph this family at a fun unique location! When Kaley saw my sailboat shoot, she knew that’s where this years session would be. The day of the shoot was beautiful! The weather was perfect and there were just enough clouds for a subdued sun and gorgeous sky.
I loved the outfits Kaley picked out for the boys. I did help pick the dress (wink, wink) which was absolutely stunning on her!
To the guys at Go Sail Arizona, thank you! Not only did we have a beautiful shoot, we got to sail as well! Check out their website to learn more about sailing instruction or rentals.
Will your next photo session be on a sailboat??
Speechless when it comes to this girl!! Eyebrows on point! Hair on point! Outfits on point! Senior session on point! Oh and location, on point!! Was there anything not on point? NOPE! Great session in beautiful Sedona.
I loved what she was looking for. She wanted some downtown, some by the creek and of course with the red rock and we were minutes from each area. I truly love flexible spots because it gives so much versatility to the session. Locations like these give the senior plenty of options to where they are not stuck with one specific backdrop and 3 different outfits! This session did all of that!
Brea is another one of my senior reps and I just love her! So sweet and beautiful! I can’t wait for her to see her finished product!
Make sure to book now to save your spot! Perfect weather is finally here!!
I sound like a broken record when I say, I have known this senior forever! But I have and I love it! Payton has an edge to her personality and after much conversation she decided that downtown would fit her personality the best! She was right, to a “T”.
Payton’s outfit choices were spot on. Super creative, outside of normal everyday school clothes yet still described her personality. I absolutely loved the accessories! The hat, the jewelry, the jacket, it gave her many options and so many different looks. There was no limit to the images captured!
Payton is just adorable. Playing volleyball in high school and focusing on college choices as well as all the other things that goes on in a seniors life has kept her busy! I was glad to even get this day with her! Of course, she is one of my senior reps so we were going to make it happen one way or another!
We had so much fun downtown, walking around looking for unique areas for fun shots! And she rocks every one!! Even though she started laughing when I wanted a serious shot, she still made it look incredible! She is just stunning!
Don’t wait until it’s too late! Get your senior photos booked now!!
First trip up north this season with my senior rep, Kaitlin, for her senior photos! The weather was absolutely perfect! We went to Goldwater Lake which is definitely one of my favorite locations!
I have known Kaitlin’s family for many years, which made her shoot so fun because we were able to spend time together! Kaitlin loves it up north and she plans on attending Montana State next fall.
I loved her outfit choices! Her cowgirl boots gave her session a country feel. The red sweater just POPPED in the middle of the trees and with her last outfit of shorts and a tank, makes you wonder if she was sweating in one outfit or freezing in the other! Personally, I was cold but Kaitlin was loving it!!
She has the sweetest personality and has such a big heart. I am so happy I was able to capture her senior photos and I know how much she will love them!
