Harlee

2w1w4w8w5w6w7wThis senior session tugged at the heart strings. I’ve known Harlee for many years but I have known her mom and dad since High School! I shot Harlee’s 8th grade promotion photos as well and I can’t believe how fast this last 4 years has gone! Harlee is graduating from Mountain Ridge which is the same high school her parents and I attended. We were actually the first graduating class! So you can imagine how surreal this is for us all. I swear we were just there yesterday!

Harlee is an amazing kid!! She has a huge personality that I love!! She is beautiful inside and out! She loved playing basketball in high school (when she wasn’t injured!) The game will always have a place in her heart. Although her goal of being an orthopedic surgeon will put her in med school for a while, she could be working in that field now with all the injury experience she already has! Ha! All kidding aside, she recovered well from each one and we are all grateful for that! She will be an amazing Doctor someday!!

I am so proud of you Harlee!! Congratulations on graduating!! Love you to death!

Sally

1-w2-w3-w4-w7-w9-wOMG could this shoot have been any better? I think not! Sally was beyond thrilled with the day! She started with Tiffany being pampered with hair and makeup, then we headed out to our location! The sky had just the right amount of clouds and it was just a beautiful day! I think the excitement of the day just shined through Sally’s photos! Every color she wore looked amazing on her! She loves sunflowers, so we made sure to add those into her images as well. She has such an angelic face and a beautiful smile! I loved the playfulness and fun of this shoot!!

Noelle

1-w2-w3-w4-w6-w7-wI got the chance to go back to the location where I had the rep shoot for 2017! I was so excited when Noelle said she liked it! This place is so cool to me. I call it a cactus graveyard! It is just undeveloped open land where cactus were dumped and left. Some are rotting and falling over but I just love the images that come from this location!

Noelle had a whole day starting with hair and makeup with Tiffany, then her shoot and wrapped up the day with a drive to Tucson to check out U of A! She was super fun to photograph and looked absolutely beautiful! Good luck making your final college decision, Noelle! I hope you had a blast with your senior photo session!!

Mariah

1-w3-w4-w6-w7-w8-wOh Mariah!! Your location was spot on for your personality! One of my senior reps who I have known for a few years now, has a huge love for our Arizona desert! She LOVES cactus! She suggested this location, which ended up being more spectacular than I had envisioned! Her mom, her and I were in awe of how magnificent Arizona’s desert could be. The day after a rain fall here is absolutely amazing and that is what Mariah had for her senior session! I will take God’s great backdrop over studio any day!!

Mariah will be heading to GCU this fall and will be trying out for their cheer team in a couple of months! Much luck to you Mariah! I was honored to be your photographer and give you your “perfect” backdrop!

Derek

2-w3-w1-w4-w5-w6-wI sound like a broken record, but this rain in Arizona will not stop!! I have realized that I now have a love/hate relationship with good ‘ole mother nature! I am an outdoor photographer and the rain is not my friend. However, it has done glorious things to our beautiful desert! The desert is as green as ever and so lush and overgrown. Which makes for some gorgeous backdrops. I really can’t complain!

With that being said, this particular day was raining all morning! Luckily, the clouds parted just in time for the shoot! I couldn’t have been more happy with the lighting I had and how the skies were a beautiful blue with gorgeous clouds. Yes, there were some puddles, but that was definitely something we could work around!

I had 2 seniors whose moms booked their shoots for the same day. These two guys have been friends since they were little, have gone to different high schools and will be heading off to two out of state schools. They are both playing baseball and I was extremely excited to have the ability to capture some awesome images on each of their fields!

Derek is an outfielder and will be playing for his college! I have known his mom for many years and was honored to capture his senior photos. It is so great when you can get them in their element. You can see them relax the second they step on that field. We had no shortage of ideas to work with! Shoutout to coach for letting us use the field!!

Ali

1-w2-w3-w4-w5-w6-wIf I could post hundreds of images from this shoot, I would! Ali, one of my senior reps wanted beautiful color in her session from her outfits to her location! The location we found was perfect! The amount of rain we have had lately has just made the desert so lush and green! Ok, fine, I’ll take the rain if this is what I get from it!

Ali is a dancer and supremely photogenic so posing for her was not an issue! Her style is beyond cute and it was so much fun showing it off! When I had her do her jump, I went absolutely nuts! The jump, the hair, the sun…HEAVEN!

We had just enough overcast to be able to utilize every angle and I am just in love, as usual, with these images!

Beth

1 w.jpg2 w.jpg3 w.jpg4 w.jpg5 w.jpg6 w.jpgI was SO excited to be outside on Sunday! Finally some Arizona 70 degree weather! It was beautiful! And so was Beth! She had found a great location full of so much variety! The lighting was amazing! Beth is finishing up her final weeks on her high school cheer team and will be powering up to tryout for GCU cheer where she will be attending this fall! Much luck to you Beth! She had so much fun during her shoot and her style was so fun! Her hair was done by the ever talented Kaycee! AKA my daughter! LOL Enjoy her sneak peek!
