Has Digital Killed the Print Star?
We have all heard that hit song, Video Killed The Radio Star, which was the first music video aired on MTV, right?! My, how new technology swallows old!
The digital world has become a massive storage "universe" for billions of photos! Most of which never make it out of the "cloud". It is still so important to print your photos and set them free from the digital monster!
Think about the scenario below and you will have a whole different perspective about this!
Have you ever seen photos of your grandparents? Even maybe your great grandparents? I am sure you were sitting with family, holding those fragile photos, reminiscing and hearing stories told about these iconic humans within your family history. For a few moments, you were imagining yourself in that photo or even thinking that those people in the photo may have held it themselves.
Now imagine the same setting sitting in front of the computer screen. The feeling isn't the same, is it? How about yet another setting....you are sitting with family that has no documentation of your ancestors because their computer was not backed up and lost all their photos...
Keeping your photos backed up on hard drives is an amazing option that we have so that you have "backup" copies should anything dire ever happen. But it's called "backup" for a reason.
Make sure you reminisce with your kids, grandkids and so on passing photos around the table while telling stories of the "good ole days" instead of tapping arrows!
