My parents have owned a restaurant for 20 years. I have worked there for 20 years. I have never had another job nor have I ever applied for another job. I have always felt like I live in a “bubble” that has carried me quite comfortably for 20 years. In that time, I have worked every aspect of that restaurant. I have been a busser, a dishwasher, a cook, a hostess, a server, a bartender, the general manager. I appreciate what the restaurant has been to me, what it has taught me and the security it has given me.
I have had a love for photography ever since I was a little girl. I loved taking pictures! Still love it to this day! It has definitely been a great side job over the last few years! Now though, I am ready to start the transition into a business! I can’t tell you what a challenge it is for me because of the fact that I have been living in my “comfy bubble”! I know it will not happen overnight but it’s time to start somewhere!
This blog, for one, has had a slow start, but hopefully will blossom into so much more! I am ready for the security I feel in the restaurant to be the security I find in my photography! It’s time to start living out my passion and sharing it with the world!
Thank you for taking the time to read this post and allow me to open up to you, my readers! I hope you can share in my love for photography and be inspired to take the next step for what you love too!
